The condensed FWS-2150 is designed for entry-level SMB/SOHO/Home office security applications with 1U compact size.  It deploys VIA C7/ Eden Processor up to 2.0GHz with 400/800MHz Front Side Bus (or onboard VIA Eden ULV 500MHz, FSB400MHz), and 240-pin DDR II 400/533 DIMM Socket system memory up to 1GB.  The chipset the FWS-2150 adopts is VIA CN700 + VT8237R+ to gain higher performance at a lower cost. 

The FWS-2150 deploys five LAN ports with 2-port bypass function for network connections.  Moreover, the FWS-2150 accommodates one Ultra ATA-100 port, two SATA I ports, and one CompactFlash slot for OS and application updates.  In addition, the FWS-2150 also deploys rich I/O’s that provide flexible expansion possibilities.  The rich I/O’s include five LAN ports, two COM ports, and two USB 2.0 ports on the rear panel.  The console port deploys console re-direction that increases the network security via remote control.  Also, with the use of the remote, one can easily troubleshoot any errors without ever having to be on site.
