Taipei Taiwan (May 07, 2010)--AAEON (TAIEX: 2463), a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, has announced a brand new eco-friendly product line called "Green Embedded Systems".  This product line will cover two new series named GES (Green Embedded Systems) and GCS (Green Communication Servers).  The first product to debut from the Green Embedded System line is the GES-1100F with several others on the roadmap for 2010 and beyond. All of the Green Embedded Systems are certified by ENERGY STAR.  ENERGY STAR is an international standard for energy-efficient electronic equipments and the standard is created by the U.S. Environment Protection Agency (EPA).  All of AAEON Green Embedded Systems are compliant with ENERGY STAR regulations. 

 

The GES-1100F is an embedded controller that adopts the Intel^® Atom™ N270 Processor (up to 1.6 GHz) and features Intel^® 945GSE and ICH7M chipset.  The system memory equips 240-pin Non-ECC DDR II 400/533 DIMM socket (up to 2 GB).  In addition, the GES-1100F consists of two Gigabit Ethernets for faster network communications and a deploys 2.5” Hard Disk Drive bay with SATA interface to serve ample storage requirements.  Its condensed appearance features desktop and wallmount options to fit into space-limited applications.  Although the GES-1100F is a compact system, it boasts four COM ports, six USB 2.0, and 8-bit Digital I/O for flexibilty with inside and outside devices.
