The COM-965 conforms to COM Express Pin-out Type III and supports the latest Intel® Core™ 2 Duo/ Celeron® M (socket-P based) processor with the Intel® GME965+ICH8-M chipset.  Support for up to 4GB of DDRII is made possible by the inclusion of 2 SODIMM sockets on the module which has the advantage of configuring the memory in dual channel mode. The GME965 chipset offers the Intel X3100 graphics core with support for 24-bit dual-channel LVDS, TV-out, and CRT with support for simultaneous/dual view configurations. In addition to the native display interfaces, the COM-965 will support PCI-Express graphic cards on the carrier or the muxed SDVO channels may be converted on the carrier to any number of display interfaces such as DVI, HDMI, or additional LVDS channels.
