Background:
The inevitable natural disasters and terrorist attacks that have happened in recent years have brought pressure and tension to every country, forcing many governments to take measures to instantly and correctly respond to these incidents. The ability to deal with such a task is accomplished by gathering talented advisors and professionals from all sectors into one location for emergency services control; yet despite the unfamiliarity among them, decisions have to be made quickly in order to work out the best solution.

Customer's Requirement: In order to ensure efficiency in this kind of meeting, it is important to have a highly recognizable and easy-to-use voting system in the meeting room, and the basic functions for this system is to be able to tell the names, nationalities, titles and their sectors via the system itself. Based on the above requirements, customers needed a total solution for this type of application.

Solution: Because more than 50 computers are used for this kind of meeting, the company - MTS - decided to go for NEC 14" LCD flat panels, a fanless Single-Board CPU board, and a fanless AC/DC power supply to construct a open-structure solution.
After comparing fanless Single-Board CPU boards from several suppliers, MTS chose the AAEON GENE-4312 to be the core of the facility to fulfill the needs for the entire system.
Prospects: MTS has earned a good reputation by introducing this highly reliable voting system. The solution has been recommended to Malaysian Government and is being further considered for usage in the coming 3-5 years. The potential volume is 1000 to 1500 sets.
