Robust Entertainment application Unit - AEC-6830

AAEON has announced our newest Boxer family member - AEC-6830 series. The AEC-6830's main application is in public multimedia entertainment services.

This model uses an Intel® ULV Celeron® processor with fanless performance and low power consumption suitable for 7day x 24 hours operation. A built-in MPEG2 decoder supports the DVD format and 5.1 CH audio with SPDIF for surround-sound quality in MTV broadcast. Moreover, the Dual View function acts like two VGA cards showing two media contents in different displays. The CLE266 North Bridge chipset effectively raises computing power with fast I/O such as USB 2.0. The optional Ultra Cooling Kit helps extends the operating temperature up to 70 degree.

The compact size body offers the end user and system integrator more flexibility to spur new ideas on application arrangements. The booming public service infrastructures in western countries such as in US & Europe or Asian countries like China are prime markets for the AEC-6830.
